Discover and Document Service

Defining the requirement is a critical step in project planning that’s often overlooked. Gaps in proper documentation at this step can lead to requirement changes throughout the construction of the project, scope creep, timeline delays, and a potential increase in the cost of the project. At SB Plus, we determine and document your requirements, which defines the key concepts necessary for the project scope. Once those concepts have been identified, we develop a detailed scope. With that, we can determine performance obligations and contract terms.

Plan and Strategize

At this stage, we believe it’s crucial to develop primary and alternate Courses of Action (COAs) to meet your needs. Cost analysis will determine which COA provides the best value for our customers’ needs, including estimated timelines. Using this information, you can make an informed decision about which COA to choose depending on cost, scope, schedule, and security requirement.

Build, Test and Secure

Depending on the scope of the project, we can assist you by providing services to construct your solution. We give our customers timely updates regarding their project and submit status reports to ensure we’re meeting deadlines and deliverables. We maintain an open line of communication, relaying progress, challenges, and solutions in a timely fashion. We believe that it’s in everyone’s best interest to be as transparent as possible at this stage to minimize challenges presented by miscommunication, which usually leads to timelines slipping, change requests, or cost and scope creep.

Support and Maintain

We believe in never vendor-locking our customer to our solutions. If you decide to continue using our service after successfully building your solution, we can provide the assistance needed to continue maintaining your investment. This includes upkeep and update of your solution and maintaining an acceptable security posture and Authority to Operate (ATO). We will enforce policies and processes created, such as change management, CUI dissemination, incident responses, version releases, and more. If you decide to transition to a different service, we’ll assist with the transition of the project and all documentation gathered to help the new service provider understand the project.

If you’re a customer in need of different support for your current service, we can provide alternatives to meet those needs and/or close any service gaps. Additionally, we’ll continuously perform assessments on how we can better improve project processes or capabilities, and we’ll present them to the project manager in charge for consideration.
